Not long now till we are back chasing  these silver bars.  There is nothing better than connecting with a prime springer it will soon test the angler and his gear so you better make sure your line is changed hooks are sharp and strong  for the job

Here are some spinning lures i would't be with out on the banks of the river Tay. The vision 110 lure has proven to be a very effective bait when fished properly although they are expensive one or two in your box is a must if you are a  serious angler.   The Toby Salmo is one of those baits like the vision, you will catch fish on them all season but they are at there best when they are cast across the stream and allowed to flutter round in the flow. In warmer water they can be deadly cast upstream and reeled in quickly to provoke the take . Also here is the Blair Spoon again another good bait to have in the box. Apart from these lures you need to no how to cover the river properly and how to set a hook always fish a tight drag to set the hooks if you only get the one chance you need to make it count....
